Since 1978, Design Woodworks has been providing Lake and Northern Cook Counties, Illinois with superior carpentry and woodworking services. Our goal has always been to give customers outstanding attention to detail from the beginning to the end. We have grown slowly but steadily by having satisfied customers spread the word. Many of our customers have not only "spread the word", but have had us back several times for rather sizable projects. For that reason we rarely advertise. We like to help our customers realize their dreams for a comfortable and creative environment. It's part of our name for that reason. If you have no idea what you want, we can help. If you know what you want we can help you put that down on paper so that those ideas are conveyed to the people that will make it a reality. If you already have plans and specifications, we will give you a quote for a fair price. We don't rush through this process. Our goal is to give you a thorough estimate based on a thorough set of plans and specifications. We live by the saying "It's better to make your mistakes on paper" realize them and correct them, than it is to waste time and money building something that doesn't meet your expectations.
